Artists Donate Over 100 Pieces of Art to Local Shelters in Nanaimo

Artists from the NFCA and the NAC have risen to the occasion again and absolutely overwhelmed us with their generosity towards a good cause. Over the last few weeks Marilyn Strongitharm, one of our NFCA members, collected over 100 works of art by 29 artists for Haven Society and the Island Crisis Care Society to display in their Haven House and Samaritan House shelters. When the idea was was first presented as a way to give back to our community we never expected such a big response! Thank you to everyone who donated, and thank you to Marilyn Strongitharm for your work in organizing this donation.
