Critique with one of Nanaimo’s past VIU professors
We have a critique with Victor coming for January so bring your paintings.
Victor comes to Vancouver Island BC, from the Philippines by way of California and Alberta. With an MFA in painting, BA in humanities and diplomas in marketing, advertising and TV plus Film-writing, he has taught drawing, illustration and ideation and worked as art editor, copy editor and advertising writer for Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Herald-Examiner and Southham Press. A sensei in Aikido Martial arts, he also brings to his teaching his scholastic research on the primitive arts of Africa and Oceania and the psychology, short story writing and poetry. He currently teaches at Victoria College of Arts.
