Our next general meeting is Saturday, September 11, starting at 9:30am. it’s in the Nanaimo Art Gallery downtown. I’ll be set up by the front counter from 9am-10am, to receive your 2011 membership dues. If you are unable to attend please mail your cheques to me soon.

Fees are due by January 1st, however, many of you, including me, travel during the winter months. Please pay your dues before you leave. For me, travelling starts the 3rd week of October. Consider sending in your dues early so that i don’t have to try to track you down in some exotic place.

If you aren’t planning to renew, contact me so that i’m not sending you a notice/call/email.

In 2009 the Nanaimo Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists commemorated its twentieth anniversary by giving back to the local community in the form of a donation of a piece of art to the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation. At that time we made a commitment to continue this practice until our silver anniversary celebration in 2014.
